Event Planning Checklist
Don't event start to think about your fundraising event without a comprehensive event planning checklist. In twenty years of planning hundreds of special events, I've used this invaluable tool to make these events well organized and very successful. Unless your mind is like a computer, there is no way that you can possibly track on all of the details that go into putting on a large scale (or even small) special event fundraiser. Whether you are planning a gala, auction or golf tournament there are hundreds of details that need to be proactively taken care of for the months leading up to the event. Not to mention, weeks before, day of, etc. The details of the event budget, volunteers, theme, promotion, etc. need to be in one centralized location. As an event planner it is your responsibility to track on these important details. Yes, the devil is in the details but you will be able to have everything at your fingertips with this handy tool.
